v      For Trump Marina:  Responsible for coordinating and supervision of catering staff, planning of operations between all departments involved, including conventions, banquets, special events. 

 

v      Processing of all union staff servers, scheduling, payroll and all administrative processing and staffing for events.

 

v      Client communication and event coordination, regarding any special needs or preparations including entertainment, audio visual,  room set up and decorations to host and conclude a successful event.

 

v      Upon conclusion of events, responsible for all account processing and payment, with all of the appropriate departments. 

 

 

 

        1992- 2005          Omni Restaurant & Catering

                             General Manager

 

v      For Omni: Hired and supervised kitchen, restaurant and catering staff. Created all promotional packages, holiday menus and packages, marketing materials, charter groups, booked negotiated and executed all client contracts and entertainment contracts. Including, when necessary security details for venues that required additional security.

 

v      Planned operations and inventory control of the restaurant and catering departments, this included on site and off site events, and sub-contractors.

 

v        Planning and event preparations, including staffing, scheduling, floor planning, decorating, attending, to each and every detail no matter how large or small. Assessing each event, minimizing unnecessary labor, but adequately staffing in accordance with the needs of the event. Qualified wedding consultant, experienced in all types of venues; benefits, trade shows, training seminars, fashion and entertainment dinner shows, fund raisers, this includes on and off site locations.

 

v         Responsible for processing of accounting functions for both restaurant and catering departments, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily reconciliations, purchasing and deposits. This position also encompassed the responsibility of maintaining and the upkeep of the property and equipment.

 

Experienced with Micros, Cater-Mate and Dac-Easy Accounting Systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel software.

v            For Trump Plaza – Hired as an on call union server, after working for

            Several months moved up to B-List server as positions became available.

             This position included set up, dinner service thru the breakdown of each

            event.  Trump Plaza hosted many different types of events from Weddings         

            To cocktail receptions, luncheons, brunches, breakfast seminars and large

             galas including New Years Eve and celebrity events. 

 

                        Upon the offer to work at Omni, I left this position.

 

                       

 

I am a member of the Atlantic County Chamber of Commerce, active in

            the community, volunteering and hosting many non-profit events.

            Including Lions Club, Rotary, Galloway Township Events and Fund

            raisers for individuals and the Red Cross.
